Say, by the way: one of the best arguments against physicalism I've ever read was Wittgenstein's two seeds argument, to challenge the intuition(!) behind physicalism. It was genuinely eye-opening.

From what I understood from the quoted snippet, this thought experiment accidentally flirts with teleology. The seed is intrinsically oriented towards becoming a plant :P

Also, I'm not sure how it challenges physicalist intuition. The physicalist can argue that the seed's genetics, along with the environment, are the only variable that account for the existence of the plant.

What it did for me was make me realize that our belief that the seeds development into a plant must be in some way mechanical, resulting from the material structure of the seed, has no logical law behind it. That's just an intuition built up from decades of finding causes that are mechanical. Basically that physicalism has an ontological commitment that it can't prove, even aside from qualia.

The intuition isn't proven wrong so much as proven to be an intuition, something merely built up out of inference. My first thought reading it was, "But there must be!". But that's not really a must, that's just a must so long as we're wearing our physicalism-glasses; the important thing it does is show that those glasses aren't fundamentally right.

Oh I see what you mean now! Yes, you are right. It's common to default into mechanistic explanations for anything, even if it's hard. The physicalist might even call it "the hard problem of seeds"

I struggled a lot with figuring out the rss setup for eleventy, though that might be a bit short. I also thought accessibility functions like volume controls, freeze frames, theme switchers are pretty cool. This one could also be quite short but a shrimple mobile hamburger menu tutorial from you might be really cool :O Thanks a lot for all that you do <33

I wanted to add a little section for blogging, but in my mind it would have left/right arrows to load entries from previous days. I am not sure how to load specific content in an item and then change what is loaded there, and I am not sure what to search for to find it. RSS seems like it is a bit advanced for me now and I don’t know if learning it actually helps what I want to do or not. Thank you for considering :)

There should be no collision with flying turned on. It can be expanded on later. You can clone the source with a single control s. WASD to move, mouse or arrows for look. Some stuff not fixed up to date with my current world, I'll apply patches as needed. For now, it works as a hangout.

Chat uses teamspeak. If it fails to sync, refresh a buncha times, it's finicky. If you want me to bridge this room to a discord server, I have a bot you can run with a simple batch script that will let you link a text channel and this lobby to send text between them.

Backspace if you ever get stuck resets to spawn. Colors will be fixed, this is just a field demo. Embedded browser panel (shouldn't be white) needs chrome or edge browser.
