I mean for certain things it can be useful FOR ASSESTIANCE but not for creativity you have a brain don’t give it to google. Google meta apple, well lets just say its never profitable to give things back.

working on a rose asset set.... my biggest issue right now is getting the decorative corners to behave when placed at the bottom of a page. i would like text to wrap the corner shape, as well as keep the corner in the bottom + be size responsive but i think that may be asking too much of css. would be sick if i could find a workaround because afaik this issue seems unsolvable online

Agreeing with your reviews for these books (almost all of them haha, now I want to read Spiral In Time)! Uketsu has a very tedious way of being like "isn't that odd??? now here is a minute detail this character will overanalyze AND IT SHALL BE TRUE" in their books. I also bounced off of the T. Kingfisher book for similar reasons. (Amazing combo of short stories here though! I love "The Willows" :))

i'm not really into drawing but i've seen a million of these posts and what i can remember is: avoid giving them "donut lips" remember black people have dark skin but not black, try to make it more brown than gray or pure black also remember their soles and palms are lighter than the rest of the skin don't just make a white person with black skin, if that makes sense? this varies from person by person

try giving them different hair types? not all black people 4c hair (again this varies person by person bloodline by bloodline) but a lot of them have at least coily hair in general try not leaning too much into 50s racial stereotypes

if you use tumblr, id recommend checking out @creatingblackcharacters! the blog's ran by a poc and talks about not only how to draw poc but also how to avoid common racialized characterizations, if you do plan to make a character of color :)

August from https://north-south-pole.neocities.org/ asked an incredible question I'd like to highlight. Do the Bearded Vultures dye themselves any other colors? Unfortunately, I could not find any evidence that they would. If you could recolor any animal, which animal and what colors would you pick?

I can't think of any specific colors or creatures but I think it'd be cool for some animals to have star patterns on them or floral patterns or something. just fun and whimsical patterns in general

i only just saw this, thank you for your answer! and for the other interesting question! i think black and white cows being swapped to be pastel pink and white would be so cute...this question reminds me of how often i used to change the colours on my katsuma on moshi monsters :3 i love your idea of antique porcelain zebras!! tigers like that would also be so cool, or baby malayan tapirs!
