@kkbkkb awawawah thank you for the article!! but it seems like its like. not updating on my local files, which cant have their cache cleared. i have no idea why that is but maybe my computer is haunted by a spectre or perhaps a ghoul of some sort

hmmmm.... try opening ur site in an incognito tab. if that doesn't work try renaming your image. in firefox you can also disable caching by using devtools.cache.disabled = true. I'd also make sure that you're calling the correct file name!

4 people who dont follow me on bluesky........... my ssd exploded into 1,000,000,000 pieces and when i took it to a computer repair place to see if anything could be salvaged (it could) but they accidentally got sleepy and spilled a glass of warm milk on my hard disk and wiped my backup 🙃 it took about a week and a half to regain access to some(!) of my accounts, including neocities. i lost neo malta too

fortunately i wasnt REALLY that far into the eventing and i was also able to salvage most of the art from screenshots. now ive got only about a week left and im hustlin so any other dev diaries may have to wait until after the jam :( sorry, i know that defeats the point!! but im kind of in a rush. i will see what i can find time 2 put out tho!!

god damnit neocities is so annoying why can't i have any control over my updates, the actual finished page being buried under like 13 mostly blank iframe pages looks so awful i just delete it every time and as a result nobody knows my site's even updated. btw my site is updated, i added the dev diary page where you can follow my progress with my game jam game (starring malta wow!!)

the rpg maker 2025 game jam has begun!! the restructured dev diary page for daikonet is mostly done (but not live), and if i get the time while working on this project i'd like to push it out and feed everyone a steady diet of my thoughts and process as i work .... comin soon.........
