not going to lie, when I saw "aspiring biogeochemist", I was almost scared away but when I saw "interdisciplinary degenerate", I smashed the follow button. Really loved your write-up on your "politics corner" page. How exciting that this is your first presidential election! I have similar feelings about the election and that nuance can be hard to come by if you're in certain circles. As a millennial, it actually brought me a lot of hope to read your thoughts. <3
