Thank you for having a look! I love your art style and your emulation section. I have a little R36S that I use to emulate my favourite classic Sonic games but i'm still very much a novice myself ahah.

Thank you, you're too kind. I might have to go back and rewrite that emulation piece one day but I'm glad to hear someone got something out of reading it lol. Sounds like I'll have to check out R36S, having a way to play Sonic 2 would be pretty rad

Okay, 21st Century Echidna and the Snowful Day sites should look as intended independent of what browser you are using. Default font isn't always gonna be a serif font depending on your device and "cursive" is very inconsistent between devices (on some its comic sans, on others its just a fancy cursive font)

I don't mind the first issue, I can see how I caused it. But the websafe fonts being inconsistent is annoying I wont lie

Was replying to @lemerks about this...... until I figure out a good place on my 'site to put this, I want to share it here! If you want to write one of these things: — (they call them "em dashes"), I've got a script on my computer that does this! I use a program for Windows called "AutoHotkey", if I press and hold down [ALT + -] (the regular en dash you're used to) at the same time, it'll make one of — these guys!

^ A file with just that inside, exactly like that! http://www.autohotkey.com — I use the 2.0 version I've got to figure out a way to do the same thing with a similar program on Linux; it's a Windows program................

Didn't feel right adding a paragraph about this on that post so imma say it here, didn't expand on my adventures because I wanted to write about the man first. I still think such selflessness needs to be documented and people need to remember the people such as him, not really his name or something like that, no, but the fact that people like him exist and are out there.

I wanna say that acts like those should be rewarded by people remembering you, but if that happens then you'll just end up in a clarence dollars situation where mfs be doing nice things to you because "Oh you'll write about me on your site". But this is an exception I think im fine to make since he didn't do what he did expecting a reward, not expecting that someone would be writing about him or anything like that.

.........Shoot, I was going to tell you how I write these — longer-looking dash things; they call those the "em dash" compared to your well known: - "en dash" But you're on Linux and I'd have to figure out a program that's got the same sort of concept...... Not sure if you're having the copy 'n paste the symbol from a website or character map manually...... I don't want you to have to go through that :( Will write about the script on my site's page here if you find a program that's similar and if the concept for an alternate program you find is similar, I'd for sure put it on it's own page but I'm still figuring my 'site out

And yeah I did do the copy n paste when getting the "em dash" (in Brasil they call it a travessão). But after researching a bit, the compose key seems like the solution. It's basically a key that you can bind to a key in your keyboard that lets you write several extra characters that don't usually exist on your keyboard (for example, holding down compose and pressing the - three times leads to a —). - has a thing for making custom keyboard shortcuts that place characters like those. Although I use xfce (the winxp theme is too good not to use) and most you get is a thing that lets you bind keyboard shortcuts to commands or programs. Still good though and is mad useful if things dont work in your keyboard (like the volume +- keys, and pause keys on my kb)

@lemerks HEYYYYYYYY — maybe I am being too polite That's great that you're figuring out something on your end though. I'm thinking of moving to XFCE because of themes and that it just might have more customizability but I'm not sure if I have to set up my distro all over again since I'm on Mint. I don't mind it *too much*, but I don't like how Mint looks by default; too clean and modern..... BLEH
