Fixed the option to hide the checkerboard background not working. JS makes it really easy to make typos
My favourite part of Ultrakill was when V1 said "it's Ultrakillin time" and Ultrakilled all over the place

i don't think i made it clear but my website actually isn't supposed to be called pencilvoid.neocities.org. pencilvoid is just my name. i've been trying to think of a name for my website for approximately 3 years

just a reminder: you shouldn't be using more than one ad blocker at a time. i recommend uBlock Origin; do NOT use AdNauseum. Firefox is alright for privacy but not the best. If you're willing to give up some convenience try Tor browser

And if you want to use Firefox, consider making use of the Arkenfox project to harden it a bit.

I use librewolf which is like a pre-hardened Firefox. Tor is cool but not really for everyday use imo especially if you're still logging into things, which compromises your anonymous session.

Good idea. at the time i figured the units wouldn't be that relevant to the end user (also i didn't feel like explaining CSS units)
depending on how difficult it is to implement i might add an option to make every page use the same colour scheme

i've never been that good at mixing colours and to be honest there are quite a few pages i think are just plain ugly

it has only just occured to me that i can use GitHub issues to keep track of to-dos

one downside of using LocalStorage for settings is that they don't expire automatically. the best i can do is checking for expiration once you load a page. though the LocalStorage API is much less weird than the cookie API so that's a plus

According to https://www.w3schools.com/js/js_cookies.asp , you set the cookie's expire date to sometime in the past. AKA you force it to delete itself.

added a button to clear all settings. also settings are saved in LocalStorage rather than using cookies now, you might need to re-select your settings
