oh I've seen those!! they look real cool!! I got a refurbished iPod gen 5 classic video for Christmas in '24 so that's what I use!! but it's cool to see people having other options (because that iPod was NOT cheap)

@oopsiedoodle i am really enjoying it. it does really feel like using an ipod if you are specifically yearning for that. what really sold me was the customization. the possibilities!! i immediately was like well i'm going to have to use images of halloween beanie babies and mcdonalds chicken nuggets as my icons. i have no choice, i simply must.

@nogginzmart yeah the innioasis wasn't exactly cheap to me either, but definitely more affordable than what i have seen the refurbished ipods going for!! (because i did look into that as well) did you by chance get one in a fun color/shell?? :D

Your plant collection is so prettyyy, and I appreciate the details about your set-up (I wanna get more plants, but I've never had anything fancier than a orchid, so I might take inspiration). godspeed you got this!! i got very excited about the html editing but then actually tried and it was annoying as hell and i couldnt get things to work on mobile without bootstrap so i just gave up and used a template

Yeah I found it pretty limiting on what they allow (at least from the perspective of someone who isn't paying to support). I wanted to do iframe on my character profiles to just have their pages on my website show up in the description but apparently they're not allowing that. Which I get but other than like the standard text commands there really isn't much to play with.

You're doing far better than I can so far, though, I'll admit that I've looked at (both normally and in "view source" modes) multiple people's Web-GUI style pages and yours' has inspired me a bit, I've experimented playing around stripping bits and adding bits on a locally saved copy. I wish I were at your level of CSS, I'm just re-learning JS, but beyond basics this time.
